Hi friends! Mrs. Hubbert and I decided to take a quick trip to New York to check out the sights. Our first stop was Central Park. We rode bikes throughout the park, saw many people having a picnic for lunch, and I got a chance to see the beautiful fountain that I had read about. Check out all of our amazing pictures from our trip.

Our next stop was The Financial District, which is also known as Wall Street. The skyscrapers were so tall, they looked like the could touch the clouds. I also met a new friend…he was looking through his briefcase, and I got to snap a quick picture with him.

While we were in The Financial District we decided to walk over to Ground Zero. They were rebuilding it, and in the beginning stages of turning it into a 9/11 memorial where The Twin Towers had been. Mrs. Hubbert and I could tell that the finished product would be beautiful.

Our last stop for the day would be The Statue of Liberty. I have read so much about her, that Mrs. Hubbert and I couldn’t miss the chance to see her in all of her beauty. She is also known as Lady Liberty.

Mrs. Hubbert and I had the best time visiting the Big Apple, we can’t wait to go back in the fall when the weather is cooler. We plan on seeing a broadway show, going to check out The Guggenheim Museum , The American Museum of Natural History, and Times Square.
Love,
Wellie
